Develop arguments in favor of FOSS based not on the short-term profitability of corporations but the long-term viability of the technologies themselves. Suggest the decline in interest among American youth is a symptom of a larger problem, a crisis at the heart of the philosophy of computing. It would have been akin to licensing writing in the context of the ancient Greek correlate.
